VIV Asia appoints partner countries for the first time

V6O2508For the first time, VIV Asia 2013 has appointed partner countries, who will get a special focus at the expo

Indonesia and Philippines will be the partner countries for the 2013 edition of VIV Asia which will take place in Bangkok from 13-15 March.

The partner countries will be included in the VIV Partner Country Program and get special attention at the expo. The visitors and exhibitors coming from these countries will be given a lot of display at the event.

VIV project manager Ruwan Berculo said, “We will be placing our partner countries in the spotlight via seminars and receptions and they will therefore be drawn to the attention of our exhibitors and investors within an organised and diplomatic framework.

Indonesia and Vietnam are developing their livestock-related trade rapidly and the Philippines has already experienced significant growth in thesector. But in the Asian region, Thailand is currently the most developed production country. Consequently, the focus of this exhibition will be on local visitors from the primary sector since investors are once again interested in them.”

The VIV Asia programme itinerary will include ‘Indonesia – VIV Asia 2013 Partner Country Seminar’ and ‘The Philippines – VIV Asia 2013 Partner Country Seminar’ scheduled to take place on 14 March 2013. The events will offer a tremendous display to the crop and meat markets from the two countries.

Other prominent country pavilions will host exhibitors from Belgium, China, France, Israel, Korea, Spain, Thailand, Netherlands, UK and USA.

The exhibition will have 40 countries putting up their stalls in the show and it is expected to see more than 25,000 visitors. Some other countries participating at the show are Australia/New Zealand, Middle Eastern countries, Africa and Japan.

With Aquatic Asia 2013 co-located prominently with VIV Asia, professionals active in the production of pig meat, poultry meat, eggs, fish and dairy will have numerous reasons to meet up in Bangkok for the show.

Some special pavilions will showcase industrial feed processing equipment, feed ingredients and additives, animal health, animal breeding and hatching, animal farm equipment and housing, egg processing and slaughtering equipment.
