ILDEX Vietnam 2018, the seventh edition of the international livestock and dairy meat processing and aquaculture exposition, has showcased 300 leading exhibitors from 28 countries and attracted 8,711 trade participants from 47 countries

Some of the major countries that participated in the event include Malaysia, Korea, China, Thailand, Singapore, India, Japan and more.

The value of the livestock equipment industry is expected to increase by up to 10 per cent of the market value, and the total value is estimated to reach approximately US$14mn USD after the fair.

The specialist trade fair included various high technology, the latest equipment and full business solutions for the livestock and aquaculture industries. As there were interesting forms of technology on display in all areas, visitors were able to get hands-on experience of the latest in livestock equipment for farming and get new ideas to develop their businesses.

Jointly organized by VNU Exhibition Asia Pacific Co Ltd, and Minh Vi Exhibition & Advertisement Service Co Ltd, the general sentiments on the success of the exhibition were reflected in the strong levels of exhibitor and buyer satisfaction with the show floor.

Ureerat Ratanaprukse, consul-general at the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Ho Chi Minh City, said, “With more than 300 regional and international participating brands including 12 from Thailand, ILDEX Vietnam 2018 will serve as a bridge of opportunities connecting sellers and buyers both for Vietnamese and international participants. The expo is set to provide beneficial technologies in response to the growing demand for livestock, aquaculture and dairy products in Vietnam. In addition, the Expo is also in line with the policy of Thailand 4.0 and the Vietnamese Government’s Industry 4.0 as well as the Master Plan on Hi-tech Agricultural Zones through 2020, which will help to integrate Vietnam’s economy into the global supply chain.”

“ILDEX Vietnam is a good exhibition because many people walking inside the hall are customers, really important buyers and the leading important exhibitors in this industry. The Hosted Buyer Programme is a nice programme because as we are buyers and plan to buy something, and we are looking for some equipment but we don’t know how to find it or what to do. So the programme is really helping us to find the right people and that’s really good,” according to Atakan Yilmaz CELIK - International Buyer, ACC Otomasyon, Turkey.

In two years, ILDEX Vietnam 2020 will continue to expand and the event will be held from 18 - 20 March 2020, at Hall A1-A2, SECC in HCM, Vietnam. The exhibition continues to move forward with the objective “Livestock Industry Growth, Customised Service,” said the organiser.
