A lineup of prestigious foreign stakeholders and industry experts comprise the speaking faculty at the ninth annual Global AgInvesting Asia conference, taking place from 12-13 September 2019 at the Tokyo American Club

The momentum for interest in agriculture as an asset class has been remarkable this year, following last year’s US$19mn allocation by Nippon Life Insurance Company to an overseas farmland fund managed by Hancock Natural Resource Group. Evidence of this can be seen in the record number of investors expected to attend this year’s conference, as there is much to learn about this viable investment that has the potential to provide stable, long-term returns.

Join the hundreds who look to HighQuest Group, the world leader in advising and connecting the agriculture investment community and host of the conference, to provide the meeting place for building new relationships and examining opportunities in the sector.

Major industry topics will be addressed through insightful presentations, including:

· A panel discussion on Japanese Investor Experiences in Evaluating International Agriculture Funds with Tim McGavin, CEO, Laguna Bay; Yashiro Ono, director of private equity/infrastructure at Japan Post Bank; and Yoshifumi Kida, manager of foreign equity and alternative investment department at Nippon Life Insurance Company.

· A featured presentation on African Agriculture by Ken Shibusawa, founder and chairman of Common Asset Management.

· More on Going Beyond ESG Integration: Sustainably Managed Timber and Agriculture Assets Can Deliver ESG Benefits and Market-Rate Returns from Nick Ping, director of business development, Asia Pacific, for Hancock Natural Resource Group.
