The inaugural Livestock Philippines 2011 Expo & Forum, which will be held from 8-10 December at the SMX Convention Centre, has received strong industry backing.
Major international suppliers that have confirmed exhibiting include San Miguel, Biomin, Big Dutchman, ZCME (Zhengchang Group), Alltech, Elasco, BM Basic, Euroasiatic, Progress Livestock, Animal Supplement, Grainpro, Phytobiotics, Danisco, Dolphins, Big Herdsman, British Pig Association, Breheret Group, Duck Gourmet, Stolz, and country pavilions from Singapore, Malaysia, China, Korea, UK, Canada, USA and Philippines.
Hosted by the Bureau of Animal Industry, Livestock Philippines 2011 is an industry focused event for the feed, livestock and meat processing sectors. The event is timed to coincide with the rapid growth in commercial animal production as consumption of pork, beef, poultry, eggs and dairy products increase. Furthermore, it will provide feed millers, farmers and processors the opportunity to source for new supplies, upgrade and implement new systems to ensure growth and competitiveness. The adjoining conference and seminars will also address issues on feed management and animal health & biosecurity.
Over 200 exhibitors and 6,000 feed millers, farmers, integrators, veterinarians, formulators, processors and nutritionists are expected at the event.
