The Livestock Asia, running in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia, from 19 – 21 April 2018, has assembled international leaders to explore growing opportunity in Asia’s feed, livestock and meat industry

The Livestock Asia 2018 organises technical seminars about feed and farm management and poultry health and disease, to discuss the challenges and solutions across livestock, feed and meat industries.

According to the organisers, the event aims to help the farmers, producers, feed millers and integrators to overcome today’s challenges in the livestock and feed production.

During the event, Veterinary Association Malaysia (VAM) has discussed the livestock farming in Malaysia, its challenges towards the era of globalisation. The seminar was full-packed and all the participants gained new knowledge about the livestock industry.

According to Joel Chong, operations manager at Sea to Table Sdn Bhd, “Livestock Asia 2018 is quite interesting. I started raising kampung chicken and I am here to see what are the different methods and techniques out there that I can use for kampong chicken.”

More than 7,000 delegates and visitors from all sectors of the livestock, meat and aquaculture industries and 200 Exhibitors from 20 Countries have participated in the show. In addition, the show also holds the ninth Malaysian Livestock Industry Award to recognise the exceptional successes of individuals and companies that made an outstanding contribution to Malaysia’s livestock and meat processing sectors.

The event will provide opportunities to the industry leaders to generate sales leads and grow their businesses. The visitors will get the opportunities to get face-to-face interactions to expand networks and develop new and existing business partnerships.
