Visitor registration for VIV Qingdao 2019 now open

VIV Qingdao 2019, an international trade show from feed to food for China, will be held in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, China from 19-21 September

The show will present 600 exhibitors in 2019 and is expected to attract more than 30,000 visits, including more than 200 industry leaders. Around 20 international seminars analysing the Chinese industry as well as the best solutions for current issues in global animal husbandry will further enhance the feed-to-food exhibition concept.

The organiser has announced that online registration for professional visitors is now open. International visitors can register via VIV Qingdao’s official website www.vivchina.nl. The organiser added that the Chinese registration page is also available on the show’s official Wechat account: VIVworldwide.

More than 30,000 visitors expected to register for VIV Qingdao 2019

The VIV Qingdao pre-registration system was opened to the Chinese public on 18 May. The organiser launched a unique marketing campaign ‘Panda-Pepsi-Present’ on this occasion, which attracted more than 1,000 visitors who successfully registered for VIV Qingdao 2019.

In order to better meet the business demands of exhibitors and professional buyers in 2019, VIV Qingdao will offer a dedicated Hosted Buyer programme. Applications from various countries, such as Iran, Vietnam, South Korea, Kazakhstan, India, and more, have already reached the show organiser.

At the same time, since May, VIV has begun to invite global buyers. The programme is open to professionals and decision-makers with large purchasing plans and active in large husbandry farms, feed factories, slaughterhouses, food processing industry, distribution enterprises, etc. Once applied successfully, VIV Qingdao will provide special services including accommodation and onsite refreshment.

Boutique display areas focusing on innovation and hot industry topics

VIV and GPGS announced their strategic cooperation at the Global Pig Genetic Improvement Forum (GPGS) welcome cocktail on 16 May. VIV will set up the Global Pig Genetic Development display area at VIV Qingdao 2019 together with GPGS.

This area will showcase the latest technology and practical solutions for future genetic development of pigs. Professional experts and leading pig breeding companies from all over the world will be invited to the show to share their experience and exchange information.

Overseas pig breeding companies such as Cooperl development centre, Topigs, Hypor, Genesus, Danbred, NSR, PIC, and professionals from Netherlands Agro & Food Technology Centre (NAFTC), French Pig Academy, Huanshan Group, Sichuan Agricultural University, New Hope Group, China Agricultural University, Wens, Henan Jing Wang, TQLS Group, COFCO, Chengdu Wangjiang, Shaffer Genetics, Beijing Whiteshre, Shaanxi Shiyang Group, gathered at GPGS 2019 to share the technical achievements at the present stage and discuss the future development of pig genetics.

VIV Qingdao 2019 will present more content and interesting activities in addition to the Global Pig Genetic Development display area such as InnovAction campaign, animal welfare concept display, on-site workshop, etc. to enhance the visiting experience at the show in order to bring further knowledge and solutions for the future development of the industry in China and Asia.
