China has pledged a US$1.17mn grant to provide assistance for Nepals agriculture sector
During his three-day visit to Nepal on 23 July, Yuan Jiajun, a politburo member of the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC) met the House of Representatives Speaker Devraj Ghimire to discuss the promotion of the country's agricultural sector. During the meeting, the Chinese leader pledged to provide US$1.17mn assistance in all the seven provinces across the country.
