Farmmi secures overseas orders, bolsters international presence

Farmmi, Inc., an agriculture products supplier in China, announced that the companys subsidiary Zhejiang Farmmi Biotechnology Co, has secured multiple orders for its dried shiitake mushrooms, dried black fungus and other products

The orders represent sales of Farmmi's products to Jordan, the UAE and greater Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg areas of Canada. 

Yefang Zhang, Farmmi's chairwoman and CEO, commented, "We continue to execute on our multi-pronged growth strategy, as we leverage our brand, premium agriculture product line, and global supply chain relationships. We have benefited from steady growth in 2021 and expect year over year growth compared to 2020, with 2022 even better based on customer demand indications. At the same time, we remain focused on unlocking value as we help Farmmi realise its true potential."

Repeated orders and timely fulfilment have been key factors that strengthened the company’s customer relationships, according to Yefang Zang, who added that the industry is benefiting from multiple catalysts like market growth, expanded customer base, increased engagements and a higher potential dollar content. 

Farmmi is also an agricultural e-commerce technology enterprise headquartered in Lishui, Zhejiang and is known for its supply and processing of shiitake mushrooms, mu er mushrooms, other edible fungi and agricultural products.
