The country currently accounts for an average production of 23.5mn tonnes of palm oil per year.

The success of the expo in 2012, which had attracted 110 exhibiting companies from five countries, 4,210 visitors and 251 conference delegates, had established the show as one of must-visit events for traders belonging to the global palm oil industry.

The second Indonesia International Palm Oil, Machinery and Technology Exhibition & Conference 2013 that took place recently at Labersa Convention Centre, Sumatera repeated the success of its glorious first year. This year, the show had close to 150 exhibiting companies, 7,000 trade and professional visitors and was spread over a total area of 4,500 sq metres.

Inaplam Asia was a bigger and more matured expo this year with exhibitors getting an opportunity to boost sales and gain exposure as well as meet key decision makers and potential buyers in the industry. It showcased the latest palm oil processing machines, parts and palm oil processing results.

The event also offered a great opportunity to build businesses by networking with both local and overseas palm oil industry members.
