During the last event of INAGRITECH 2022, which was held for three days, there were 137 exhibitors who occupied 9,500 sq m of the venue
And there were 4,132 visitors coming to attend the exhibition who came from 12 countries. It was attended not only by companies, ministries/agencies, but also major trade associations from Asia Pacific region. The exhibition featured the latest products, innovations, technologies and services related to agriculture, palm oil, sugar, agrochemical and solutions related to agriculture industry.
INAGRITECH 2023 – The Indonesia Leading Exhibition in the Agriculture Industry which will be held from 23-25 of August 2023 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta – is back with its ninth edition.
It is supported by four sub-events related to agricultural sectors: INAGRICHEM (Agriculture chemicals: Fertiliser & Pesticides), SugarMach Indonesia (Sugar Machinery, Equipment & Processing Technology), INAPALM ASIA (Palm Oil Machinery & Processing Technology), and Pump & Valve Indonesia (Pump, Valve System & Equipment)
All those events are focusing on agriculture and technology solutions. Featuring agricultural machinery and technology trade fair held indoors and outdoors, it is well-known as one of agriculture's most important trade fairs. It serves as a one-stop event that plays an important role in the agro-economy industry, presenting the new trends and gathering the global suppliers and key players from agriculture sectors.
Indonesia agricultural outlook 2023
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) noted that the agricultural sector remains the main support for the national economy. The national NTP (farmer's purchasing power) in March 2023 was 110.85, up 0.29% compared to the previous month's NTP.
Indonesian agricultural innovation follows the development of the world which is entering the 4.0 revolution. This is marked by the innovation of Agricultural Machinery (ALSINTAN) which has been integrated with the internet. Agricultural innovation that is being developed at the moment is the concept of smart agriculture which can also be called smart farming or precision agriculture. The main agenda of Agriculture 4.0 is digital transformation in the agricultural sector, and the development and use of digital technology in agriculture. In the end, this system boils down to smart farming, precision farming (measured farming), vertical farming, and biotechnology.
