Agri Week Kyushu comes to an end with remarkable success

Agri Week Kyushu, the leading agricultural exhibition in the region, concluded its highly anticipated event, achieving unprecedented success and setting new benchmarks in terms of participation and global outreach

The event, held in May 2023, witnessed a remarkable turnout of 17,322 visitors from all over Japan and 26 countries, solidifying its position as a leading platform for innovation and collaboration in the agricultural industry. 

The event's success is further magnified by the significant participation of exhibitors from all over the world. A total of 268 prominent companies from diverse sectors within the agricultural industry flocked to Kyushu, eager to showcase their latest agri-tech and livestock products and solutions. The event served as a pivotal hub, connecting industry players with key stakeholders, providing a platform to explore new markets, and fostering the establishment of valuable business relationships. 

Throughout the event, attendees were captivated by a plethora of ground-breaking innovations that promise to revolutionise the agricultural landscape. Notable highlights included advancements in agricultural drones for precision farming, Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) technology, indoor vertical farming, and IT/IoT technologies to streamline farm management.   

From state-of-the-art machinery to advanced crop management systems, the latest technologies that are shaping the future of farming are showcased within the event’s three specialised shows — Agrinext Kyushu, Agritech Kyushu, and Livestock Kyushu. These shows are dedicated to enhancing productivity, optimising resource usage, and promoting environmentally friendly practices.  

Looking ahead, Agri Week Tokyo, scheduled to be held concurrently with Gardex and Tool Japan shows on 11-13 October 2023, promises to take the industry to new heights. This premier event, taking place at Makuhari Messe in Japan, will serve as a comprehensive platform that brings together the best of Agri-Tech, gardening, outdoor, and hardware and tools industries. It presents an unparalleled opportunity for industry professionals and stakeholders to explore the latest trends, products, and business prospects in these dynamic sectors.
