The fourth edition of the Global Vertical Farming Show (GVF 2023) is returning to Dubai this September, following the success of its previous editions

Being a highly successful annual event that brings together experts, investors, growers and leaders in the vertical farming space from across the globe, GVF 2023 – taking place from 13-14 September 2023 at Movenpick Grand in Al Bustan, Dubai – will serve as a platform for showcasing services and solutions discussing latest trends, ideas and innovations in the field of control environment agriculture as well as its potential to transform the future of agriculture.

Given its ability to maintain high quality crops, contribute to sustainable urban farming, and accelerate food production, vertical farming has received growing interest worldwide, with massive facilities springing up and beginning their operations in various regions including Asia, Europe, US and the Middle East.

As the largest vertical farming show in the Middle East, GVF 2023 is a go-to event to explore the market, establish brands and kickstart strategic partnerships over two power-packed networking days. The theme of the event is aimed at transforming food systems to enhance food security, achieve better nutrition and improve climate change outcomes.

This year, more than 100 exhibitors from over 35 countries are expected to attend the show. Being the Middle East's largest and only vertical farming event, GVF 2023 brings together the complete vertical farming and CEA value chain under one roof. The event is an ideal platform for exhibitors to showcase their agricultural technlogies and solutions to industry relevant people. It also gives exhibitors the opportunity to meet, network and collaborate with global industry experts.

The Middle Eastern government is keen on developing the vertical farming sector in the coming years. It has recognised the importance of AgTech in achieving food security goals and that official backing paves the way. Hence, the governement has always been open to foreign investment for the development of this sector, which it believes, will open up tremendous economic prospects for new or established firms. Moreover, since the Middle East alone provides vertical farming resources that can help develop a centre of networking opportunities for multinational firms to locate the right channel partner and support stakeholders in reaching the right audience, it can also assist foreign companies to explore the sector as a whole, for business opportunities.
