At the 2022 edition of ILDEX Indonesia, visitors will get an opportunity to meet more than 135 leading brands from over 30 countries, along with three international pavilions representing the Netherlands, Europe and Aquatica pavilion, thus maximising business opportunities in Indonesia

In Indonesia, the consumption of milk and dairy products continues to increase rapidly, creating an attractive market for local producers and foreign exporters. Indonesians' growing demand for milk and its derivatives bodes well for dairy consumption going forward. Moreover, the country's large market potential and cultural influence from western countries in the southeast Asian region could make Indonesia an attractive hub for dairy manufacturing.

By 2050, it is predicted that there would be a twofold increase in demand for animal sources of food including red meat in developing countries. In Indonesia, there has always existed a gap between supply and demand of beef, with national beef production only satisfying about 45% of the demand.

Indonesia's cattle industry is indeed facing a bright future. The fact that there are currently only a few certified slaughterhouses in the country opens up prospects for consultation, facilitation and training. The same holds true for downstream processing to produce compliant and trusted meat products. Collaboration with meat producers to develop premium brands catering to the growing demand for organic products is as yet an untapped area of the meat and livestock market.

In this regard, ILDEX Indonesia’s 2022 edition taking place from 9-11 November 2022 has a lot to offer. With a number of international and Indonesian brands, associations, media, government and universities exhibiting at the event, ILDEX Indonesia will present exciting knowledge sharing and connection building opportunities, thus making it an event that is not to be missed.
