Indo Livestock 2021 to take place in June

Indo Livestock 2021 - the 15th International livestock, feed and fisheries industry show will again open its doors to industry professionals and trade visitors from 23-25 June 2021

The event includes all groups of livestock management and meat processing. The show will occupy 18,000 sqm at Jakarta Convention Centre. At the last Indo Livestock in Jakarta (2018), the organisers registered 575 exhibitors from 40 nations with 15,957 trade visitors.

Capitalising on the growing industry, Indonesia’s economy is projected to grow impressively. Indonesia is the largest country in Southeast Asia, with a labour force of 265 million people, about 70% of the population are involved in the livestock, feed and fisheries industry.

The population of broiler chickens during the 2013-2017 period is predicted to increase by 3.28% per year on average, and in the next five years, it is predicted to increase by an average of 5.54%. At the same time, the production of broiler eggs for five years (2018-2021) is predicted to increase by an average of 4.87% per year while the average consumption will increase by 4.18% per year.

Hosted by the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Indo Livestock Expo & Forum is a must-attend event for decision-makers and buyers across Asia.

More than 15,000 trade visitors and delegates are expected to attend the expo, seminar and technical presentation in 2021.

The organisers stated that more than 600 exhibitors from 40 countries would participate. The event aims to provide a platform for buyers to source for new technology and equipment and where industry professionals get an update on the latest technological advances and industry trends.
