New dates announced for PALMEX Malaysia

Following the extensive consultations with the exhibitors and considering the circumstances of the COVID-19 situation, the event organiser announced that PALMEX Malaysia will now be held on 25-26 February 2021

The event, which will take place at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur, is the only specialised palm oil event in Asia that brings together an international gathering of upstream and downstream palm oil companies and their supporting industries to showcase the latest developments in the palm oil industry.

Ranked as the world’s second-largest palm oil producer, this event will be supported by the local Malaysian Palm Oil Community, ensuring that major players in the industry will be represented at this event.

Visitors’ profile includes palm oil owners; palm oil producers; palm oil policy and decision-makers; palm oil scientists, engineers and technologists; palm oil importers, exporters and traders; palm oil processing planters; palm oil refineries; palm oil regulators; agents/distributors/traders; agriculturists; biotechnologists; builders and construction workers; buyers/purchasers; chemists; design and consultancy experts; engineers and contractors; environmentalist and more.

More than 80 exhibiting brands from more than 10 countries are expected to participate, which include major palm oil producers and palm oil mills from South East Asia.

The event is designed for palm oil companies looking for latest harvesting tools and equipment, fertilisers and planting solutions, machine and tractor upgrades, new technologies such as biogas exploration, bioethanol, biomass potential and solutions for wastewater treatment.

The event also includes the Oils and Fats International Congress (OFIC) 2021, which focuses on the major challenges facing the oil and fat industry in finding possible solutions.

OFIC 2021 will include a poster session to provide a platform for sharing recent research findings and innovations related to oils and fats.
