“Our star product is essential oil from the plant Oregano. We do not buy it from the spot market. We produce it by ourselves along with our partners to make sure that we have an approved and standardised quality of the essential oil from Oregano plantation. We organise our own plantation and our own seeds to maintain the standard,” said Döpker.
Providing natural solutions for healthier animals
DOSTOFARM is the only supplier in the world from seeds to the finished products to have it all under one roof. Our entire production process is integrated with quality standards, with an aim to secure optimum processing for high-grade oregano products.
The company’s Oregano oil is made from the exclusive and top quality Oregano species. The Oregano seed and varietal identity is certified and regulated by the Seed Ordinance. Pure natural oregano oil - not synthetic, partially synthetic or ‘natural identic’ - is used in the products. The oregano oil, used for Dosto products, is originated from the company’s contracted farming.
In animal nutrition, the use of medication and antibiotics is seen more and more critical, so natural alternatives are becoming more important. Oregano in animal husbandry is used in feed-related digestive disorders. Studies show good effects against bacterial diseases like E.Coli or Clostridium, but also against endoparasites like coccidiosis, cryptosporidiosis or histomoniasis (blackhead disease).
