Malaysian Vaccines and Pharmaceuticals (MVP) has provided an effective solution to guarantee that broiler chick receives protection against Very Virulent lnfectious Bursal Disease (vvIBD) challenge from its earliest age with only single vaccination

The need to use very virulent viral-based vaccine:

Very virulent IBDV is antigenically similar to the classical strains (calBDV) IBD virus. It can establish infection at a higher level of maternally derived antibody (MDA), which is usually protective against calBDV strains.

Chicken that received IBD vaccine of caIBDv origin could not be protected against very virulent IBD infection, but will be fully protected when vaccinated with a VVIBDv-based vaccine.

It is indeed a need to use vvIBDv based vaccine to confer full protection against vvIBDV strains of field challenge.

MyHatch UPM93 hatchery vaccine that is specifically designed against vvlBD field challenge:

The UPM 93 vaccine’s seed has novel and unique molecular characteristics of viral protein with high homology to vvIBD viral field strains in Asia and Europe.

Unique nucleotide and amino acids substitutions occur in segment A and segment B only in UPM93 genetic makeup are associated with its safety, immunogenicity and efficacy of UPM93 strain; MyHatch UPM93 IBD vaccine.

MyHatch IBD UPM93 vaccine is the solution as it is:

Highly Immunogenic: It can penetrate high maternal derived antibody (MDA) to establish protective titre as early as four weeks upon administration.

No immunosuppression: It does not interfere with other vaccinations as it does not cause immunosuppression.

Safe for Day Old Chick: It does not cause severe bursal lesion, and the recovery of the bursal was well documented a few weeks after the vaccine's administration.

Good Chicken Performance: It has proven to not cause interruption of body weight or Food Conversion Ratio (FCR) or performance of chicken.
