The Agri World 2017, one of the largest agricultural industry trade shows in Asia, will take place in Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan from 11-13 October 2017
Organised by the Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd, around 800 exhibitors from 51 countries are expected to participate in the show, with 150 companies to be participating for the first time to exhibit.
According to the organiser, around 30,000 visitors including major importers, wholesalers and mass retailers from around the world will visit the show to source trendy products.
Agri World aims to gather exhibitors with fertiliser and soil, agricultural machinery, plant factory and protected horticulture equipment.
Being held twice a year, one in May in Osaka and one in October in Tokyo, Agri World consists of the three shows such as 7th International Agricultural Material & Technology Expo Tokyo (AGRITECH JAPAN), 4th Next Generation Agriculture Expo Tokyo (AGRINEXT JAPAN) and 2nd Farmer’s Processing & Sales Support Expo Tokyo.
AGRITECH JAPAN showcases the latest agricultural products and services to the visitors and provides opportunity for the business collaboration. Industries like protected horticulture, agricultural machinery, agricultural products package, fertiliser and soil, wild animal protection etc and visitors from home centres, agricultural cooperatives, agricultural corporations etc participate in the show.
AGRINEXT JAPAN is a trade show that aims to feature next generation technology and products like IT agriculture, solar sharing, farmer’s processing and sales support and plant factory. Manufacturers of biomass, drones, carbon dioxide, hydrogen water, solar power generator etc and visitors across agricultural cooperatives, plant factory operators and local governments take part in the show.
The Farmers’ Processing & Sales Support Expo features products like processing equipment and sales support system, with an aim to help farmers to produce, process and sell agricultural products. Exhibitors for this event include consulting, sales support etc, with visitors representing agricultural corporations, agricultural cooperatives and farming industries.
