The indoor vertical farming company &ever is using automation and machine learning technologies to grow healthier and better tasting crops

According to the company, the high-nutrient and great tasting crops decrease environmental impact by using 90 per cent less water, 60 per cent less fertiliser and zero pesticides compared to traditional farming.

Using their Dryponics system, a method of growing salad that keeps the plants alive, with the root intact until the final moment before consumption, &ever produces greens that are at their highest nutritional value. By keeping the root of the plants dry and allowing the consumer to harvest the greens only seconds before consumption, the greens are richer in nutrients, better tasting, and free of chemicals.

The company’s aim is to bring nutritious, locally grown produce to parts of the world which normally cannot grow due to climate conditions. The company recently launched a farm in the Kuwaiti Desert where they produce up to 550kg daily of greens, salads and herbs for Kuwaiti restaurants and consumers.
