Indonesia’s eFishery secures major funding

Indonesia-based agritech company eFishery has closed its Series B round that was co-led by Go-Ventures and the Northstar Group, together with Aqua-Spark and VC Wavemaker Partners

As reported in The Fish Site, the funds are expected to be used to boost product development, accelerate eFishery’s position in Indonesia’s aquaculture industry.

Quoting Gibran Huzaifah, co-founder and CEO of eFishery, the source further added that the company is set to increase yields and reduce the costs for fish and shrimp farmers, thus strengthening the domestic aquaculture sector and boosting the economy.

eFishery is helping Indonesian farmers to build more profitable and sustainable farming businesses and will continue to do so.

With the new finding, eFishery is expected to roll out across Indonesia and achieve its ambitious plan to emerge as one of the leading aquaculture companies in the country.
