Hamlet Protein has opened a new sales office to support customers in China and South East Asia with specialty vegetable proteins for young animal nutrition
The team serving the region has also gained two new members: Regional Sales Manager Lu Kelun and Area Sales Manager Astasit Kaewnanuer. Customers in China and South East Asia can expect a more local response to young animal nutrition needs.
Specialised in animal husbandry, nutrition, genetics and breeding, Lu Kelun has more than 10 years’ experience within feed additive sales to the Chinese market. He will be based at the new office in Qingdao from 1 April.
Astasit Kaewnanuer is managing sales in South East Asia. Working from Bangkok, he has a background in veterinary medicine and more than 14 years’ experience in feed ingredient sales.
VP Sales and Marketing in Asia, Dr Yu Feng says more appointments are planned for 2017.
“Asia’s economy is growing rapidly. The lifestyle is also changing, as people demand high quality, safe foods that are free of antibiotics. These factors are driving us to invest more in the region,” he explains.
