Exploring innovations in piglet and broiler nutrition

Livestock nutrition specialists, HAMLET PROTEIN, will host seminars exploring the latest developments in piglet and broiler nutrition on 16 March at VIV Asia 2017


The seminar is split into a piglet and a broiler section and will be held in English. The piglet nutrition seminar will take place from 13:00-14:00 and will be held on the topic “Off to the best start – digestible proteins for healthy piglet growth”. The speakers at the event will be Rommel C Sulabo, Professor of Monogastric Nutrition at the University of the Philippines Los Banos who will speak about the nutritional value of different soy proteins used in piglet feeds and HAMLET PROTEIN Nutritionist Lars Sangill Andersen who will speak on ‘Formulating piglet diets under restrictions in antibiotic use.’

The broiler nutrition seminar under the broad theme ‘A lifetime of benefits – digestible proteins for the first chick feed.’ The speakers will include associate dean at the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Nong Lam University, Vietnam Nguyen, Quang Thieu on the topic ‘New trial performance on colour chicken and gut health situation’ and HAMLET PROTEIN technical sales manager David Nelson who will speak on ‘The Change to Antibiotic Free Broiler Diets: A US Perspective.’

The seminars will be held as part of HAMLET PROTIEN’s Feed Your Brain seminars initiative which brings international animal nutrition experts to address the issues of livestock nutrition.
