Jorenku A/S, a leading Danish manufacturer of hygiene products has announced the promising results from a new Chinese University study, revealing the ability of the companys dry disinfecting powder, Staldren to completely degrade both African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV)

In case of ASFV, Staldren demonstrates its formidable effectiveness by completely degrading this virus after just one hour of interaction, with the study thus confirming the product to be a new method for combating this serious threat. Moreover, just one gram of Staldren was sufficient to achieve complete degradation of PEDV in just one hour, thereby highlighting the product's remarkable capacity to handle this virus.

"Staldren is superior in degrading both ASFV and PEDV, so naturally we are very excited about the results of this independent study. It confirms Staldren's potential as an effective solution against African Swine Fever, which is a serious threat to pig producers globally," said CEO of Jorenku A/S, Johnni Pedersen

During the coming months, Jorenku A/S looks forward to sharing the study results at the Danish tradefair NutriFair, as well as other international trade fairs and with distributors worldwide. The company will also be present at Livestock Malaysia taking place from 29 November to 1 December 2023.
