Following extensive and successful testing of high line speeds on installed systems, Meyn is able to announce that its ECP machines are able to run at speeds up to 13,500 bph

“This enables us to meet customer expectations and helps them to achieve further efficiencies”, said Pete van Poorten, product manager. “Several of our installed systems have been running above 10,000 bph for some time, and this is the logical next step.”

For the moment, the line speed of 13,500 bph will only apply for a live weight range of 1.2 kg – 4.0 kg, with a 6 inch shackle pitch. Performance tests at these speeds have not led to structurally lower performances, and any extra wear and tear has been within tolerable limits.
