Challenger will introduce the newest addition to its RoGator lineup the RG700, a 2,650-litre capacity self-propelled sprayer, at Agritechnica 2013 in November this year

According to the Netherlands-based company, the new machine combines professional-grade quality and dependability with flexibility to meet spraying requirements with a smaller tank size.

It’s the ideal RoGator for farmers and contractors requiring a lighter-weight, more-nimble sprayer, company sources added.

According to Challenger, the RG700 also offers the AWD Smart Drive System, even weight distribution and Parallel C-channel flex frame. The result is a smoother ride, less wear and tear on the booms, and more precise product application even under varying field conditions.

With 165-hp and selective catalytic reduction (SCR), the sprayer has a powerful, high-torque engine, two-axle configurations — narrow and standard.

The application cab design includes six-post cab design for visibility, folded booms, wider platforms and a lower first step onto the walkway, sound-dampening materials for a quieter ride and ergonomic armrest and joystick configuration.

The machine’s reload station is designed for a quick, simple and safe reload process and the liquid system’s design is expected to help it achieve maximum output flow and tip-to-tip application accuracy.
