WEDA Dammann & Westerkamp GmbH has introduced mobile feeding machine Easy Feeder for finishing pigs with a powerful battery and sturdy chassis

The electric motor consumes little power, so the agitator and pump the machine in continuous use run up to five hours. In Easy Feeder also an intelligent electronic charger is integrated. The 125-litre feed tank holds 100 litres and should be filled with a minimum amount of ten litres, the company said.

As opposed to comparable products, the Easy Feeder has an agitator which mixes the dosificated components in the container. Agitator and pump are switched separately, so that after mixing of the feed only the pump remains in operation, thus saving energy. When feeding the agitator works slowly and rapidly during mixing. The Easy Feeder on the 230V plug can be connected to the mains.

The control panel for the battery is made of stainless steel. It is attached to the underside of the machine. Thus, the focus is low, making the Easy Feeder tilt-proof and portable. An additional advantage is that the handle for pushing can be fixed in two different heights.

The ergonomic height of 1,100mm, the product is easy and quick to clean. The metering valve opens when the lance tip is easily pressed in the trough. Depending on the viscosity of the feed pump pressure in the container can be adjusted continuously. This prevents food splashes from the uncontrolled feed vessels.
